Murph Day 2026 Another Huge Day for the CrossFit Community

Murph Day 2026 has officially wrapped up, and once again the CrossFit community showed exactly why this workout remains one of the most respected events in functional fitness.

Across the UK and around the world, athletes came together to take on the Murph workout, pushing through miles of running, high volume bodyweight movements, and serious mental fatigue. Whether completed RX with a weighted vest, scaled with partitions, or tackled for the first time, Murph continues to be one of the biggest tests in CrossFit training.

The workout remains simple but brutal:

  • 1 mile run
  • 100 pull ups
  • 200 push ups
  • 300 air squats
  • 1 mile run

What makes Murph unique is that it challenges every type of athlete. Strength alone is not enough. Endurance alone is not enough. Success comes down to pacing, resilience, and the ability to keep moving when fatigue hits hard.

This year, many athletes also approached Murph with a stronger focus on hydration, fuelling, and recovery, especially as hybrid training and endurance focused CrossFit continue to grow. Long workouts like Murph place major demands on the body, making hydration and sustained energy critical.

Throughout Murph Day, athletes relied on electrolyte powders for hydration and endurance to help maintain performance and replace minerals lost through sweat. For recovery after the workout, products like Whey RX protein and creatine supplements for strength and recovery can help support muscle repair after such high volume training.

Murph also continues to highlight the rise of hybrid fitness. More athletes are now combining endurance training with traditional CrossFit style workouts, improving their ability to sustain output over longer sessions and events.

Most importantly, Murph Day remains about community. Every year, it brings athletes together to push themselves, support each other, and complete something difficult side by side.

Whether you hit a personal best, survived your first attempt, or simply showed up and got it done, completing Murph is always something to be proud of.

Recover properly and prepare for your next challenge with performance supplements for CrossFit and hybrid training.
