What is the Crossfit Open? The 2022 Workouts Revealed!
What is the Crossfit open?
The Open is a worldwide online competition that was first launched back in 2011 as a means for Athletes from around the world to complete the workouts from the comfort of their own city or town and submit their scores on the CrossFit Games website.
Each year, the Open has gained more and more traction around the world as the CrossFit community has grown. Over the last decade it has been a great way to track your own progress and the progress of box members over the years.
Structurally, the Open is a series of workouts spaced across three weeks. Individuals can do the workouts from anywhere.
The workouts programmed during the Open are no different than those you perform at your affiliate each day. Attending class, practicing the movements of CrossFit, and working to move well each day mean you’re well-equipped and ready to take on the Open!
